Coach Tim Mulholland
Head Coach 1986-1988 and 1994-2004

Tim Mulholland's name has been synonymous with wrestling at General McLane. He was a Wrestling Coach in the school district for 25 years and spent many of those as Head Coach.

Coach Mulholland was an Assistant under Gil Troutman from 1979- 1986. He was the Head Coach from 1986-1988, then coached the middle school wrestling team from 1989-1993. He returned as Head Coach of the high school program at the beginning of the 1994 season and remained as Head Coach until the end of the 2003-2004 season.

Mr. Mulholland retired as the winningest Head Wrestling Coach in General McLane history. His career record as Head Coach was a superb 137 wins - 61 losses (a 69% winning percentage). Some of his other accomplishments as Head Wrestling Coach were:

1986-87 Fifth Place Team Finish at the PIAA State Wrestling Tournament
1995-96 Section and District 10 Coach of the Year

1996-97 Section and District 10 Coach of the Year
1996-97 Erie County League Champions
2002-03 Erie County League Champions
2002-03 District 10 Team Dual Champs
2002-03 District 10 Tournament Champs
2002-03 District 10 Coach of the Year
2002-03 5th Place Finish at NW Regional Tournament
2003-04 NW Regional Champions

Note: Coach Mulholland recorded his 100th Head Coaching Victory on
Friday, February 1st, 2002 as the Lancer wrestling team Shut Out Girard 68-0!
