The week ahead….1/27-1/31

We are about to enter another busy week. We start with the D10 Dual Meet Championships today (Tuesday 1/27) at Edinboro University. Our invitation to the event and our performance at the Corry Duals solidifies us as one of the top four teams in D10 AAA. We have drawn the 4th seed and a semi final match up with Prep. A win sends us to the finals against the winner of the Corry/Meadville semi with a berth in the State Duals on the line.

Tuesday 1/27

3:30-Bus leaves HS
4:00 Weigh-ins
5:00 vs Prep
7:00 Finals

Following the Duals are the Fred Bell Tournament on Friday and Saturday at Grove City High School and Saturday’s Cranberry JV tournament.

The Varsity team will be leaving school early and traveling to Grove City while the JV team will meet the team at the tournament on Friday after a short practice. The whole team will be staying in Grove City Friday night with the teams heading in separate directions Saturday morning. At the completion of the JV tournament the team and the coaches will return to the Fred Bell Tournament to support the varsity team. The schedule is as follows.

Friday 1/30

12:30 Dismissal of the Varsity team
2:00 - Weigh-Ins
4:00 - Wrestling begins
JV team leaves GM at the completion of practice
Check into Hotel at the completion of the First day of wrestling
Hotel - Holiday Inn Express 724 748-5514

Saturday 1/30

Fred Bell Weigh-Ins - 7:30
Cranberry JV Weigh-Ins - 8:00
Fred Bell Wrestling Starts - 9:00
Cranberry Wrestling Starts - 9:30
Finals of Fred Bell - 6:00

I am looking forward to a great week of wrestling and the team and myself greatly appreciate the support of the fans traveling the short distances to our most recent competions and always welcome the encouragement.
