Tool City Info

This Friday and Saturday is the Tool City Tournament, a traditional style bracketed tournament that has been on the GM schedule for many many years. The TC features many of the top local teams and some stiff competitors from across the state and Ohio.

The team will leave from school after third period to make the 2:30 weigh-ins. THe rest of the schedule follows.

Tool City Tourney 2008 – 16 Teams Meadville Area High School
Friday, January 9, 2008: Weigh-Ins: 2:30 p.m.
Coaches Meeting: 3:30 p.m.
Wrestling: 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (approx.) on 4 mats

Saturday, January 10, 2008 Weigh-Ins: 7:30 a.m.
Coaches Meeting: 8:30 a.m.
Wrestling: 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (approx.) on 4 mats
Consolation Championships: 5:00 p.m. (3rd thru 6th) on 2 mats
Parade of champions: 7:00 p.m.
Championship Finals: 7:30 p.m. on 1 mat

Upon completion of the Saturday’s morning session the team will be going to eat at the Safari Bar Restaurant in Meadville. This a great place for the wrestlers to eat and relax. Family and Fans are welcomed to attend.
