Congratulations to Doug Myers for being named the Zboyovski Construction Wrestler of the Week by the coaching staff. Doug concluded the week with a 6-1 record.

Doug posted a decisive 9-5 win over Dennis Diodati during the Conneaut Lake Dual in a very important spot in the match. Doug had dropped his previous 2 matches to Diodati last season.

Doug suffered his first loss of the season in the finals of the Athens Jarvis Wildcat Memorial Tournament to returning AA State medalist Garrett Morgan of Athens. Prior to his loss in the finals Doug had recorded two falls and a technical fall along with two decisions by 4-1 scores.
