Wrestler of the Week #2
Congratulations to sophomore Ryan Ruth and junior Tom Nuhfer for being named the Zboyovski Construction Co-Wrestlers of the Week. Votes among the coaching staff were equal for both wrestlers earning them both the honor for their accomplishments against McDowell at the the War at the Shore.
Ryan Ruth started the night out with bang when he ended a tight 3-0 match with Dom Desanto when he gained the pin with just 5 seconds reamining in the match egnighting a spark in the rest of the team.
Tom Nuhfer found out late in the week that he would have the chance to start. Tom made weight on short notice and performed brilliantly earning a 15-4 major decision over Robby Ferguson. Tom scored 5 takedowns and forced his opponent into 3 stalling calls and 3 penalty points.
