Wrestler of the Week #5

Congratulations goes out to freshman Tim Wheeling for receiving the acknowledgement of being the Zboyovski Construction Wrestler of the Week. Tim’s week started on Tuesday when he won a hard fought wrestle-off to earn the starting spot at 103. Tim then parlayed this opportunity into a third place finish at the Tool City Tournament. Tim opened his first Tool City with a 16-1 technical fall and then proceeded to knock off the #2 seed, Corey Bush of Ridgeway, by a 3-0 score. After a loss in the semi finals Tim won his next two matches, including a decisive 8-3 win over Bush in the consolation finals to earn his 3rd place honors.
