Athens-Jarvis Tournament
We will be leaving today (Thursday) after practice to make the trek across the state to Athens, PA for the Athens-Jarvis Wildcat wrestling tournament. This tournament is another 8 team pool style tournament but differs from the Mountaineer Tourney in that our guys will wrestle the 7 other kids in the weight class over the course of two days. Placements will be determined through a predetermined formula. Our schedule is as follows.
Thursday: Leave after practice and arrive in Athens approximately 10:00
- Hotel info-Hampton Inn Sayre 570 882-1166
Friday: Weigh in - 3:30, Wrestle 4:30
- Rounds 1-3
Saturday: Weigh in - 9:00, Wrestle 10:00 until completion
- Rounds 4-7
Also, this year we will be bringing along three JV wrestlers to compete in the JV tournament held on Saturday.
