GM Jr. High Wrestlers Win Mercer Tournament For The Second Straight Year
The GM wrestlers traveled to Mercer over the weekend pinning their way to the team title. The Lancers won 62 matches with 49 coming by the way of pin. WOW!!! The bonus points gained from the pins were enough to out score Brookville by a team score of 330 to 320. Leading the team this weekend was Chris Laird with 8 wins of which 7 were pins. Also placing first were Joe Wheeling and Jake Baker. Placing 2nd were Keller Watkins, Deane Twitchell, and Alex Thayer. Placing 3rd were Ryan Horn, Jimmy Nuhfer, and Nolan Marcinko. Placing 4th were Aaron McQuaid, Nick Soboleski, and Matt Vickery. The Lancers travel to Kane for the holiday tournament on December 28th.
