JV’s Impress at McDowell Tournament
The team depth was on display this weekend as the JV team also took to the mats for the first time this season and did not disappoint. Tournament Championships were turned in by freshman Parker McDermott and junior Bryan Campbell. Parker dominated his first high school tournament winning all 5 of his matches by fall. Both wrestlers lost very tight wrestle offs earlier in the season and have proven that they will be ready to compete on varsity when they get a chance. Nate Ferrick also turned in a strong performance in his runner up finish. A special congratulations to hard working first year junior Andy Stafford, who won his first wrestling matches this past weekend.
