McLane JR. High Wrestlers Take First Place at Northwestern Tournament 1/22/2011

Lancers Jr. High wrestling team won the Northwestern tournament this weekend racking up 265 team points beating second place Reynolds who had 229 team points.

Through out the day the Lancers had 52 wins with 37 of them by pin picking up major bonus points. Leading the team was Dylan Myers and Keller Watkins winning 5 matches each and our only tournament champions. Placing 2nd was Hunter Hendricks, Briggs Twitchell, Kyle Sult, Jimmy Nuhfer, Ian Mallory, and Nick Soboleski. Placing 3rd was Jordan Motter and placing 4th was Justin Miller. Dylan Myers and Hunter Hendricks lead the team with the most pins they both had 4 each on the day. Great job boys keep up the good work.
