To honor the memory of Tim Harrison, a Wrestling Scholarship was established in 2006 by his extended wrestling family (General McLane Lancer Wrestling). This scholarship will be awarded to a senior wrestler who is furthering their education upon high school graduation.

The character Tim developed on the mat defined him in every aspect of his life. It earned him long, successful career as a business
executive, reflected his life as a community leader, and served as a foundation for being a devoted husband and father. He was a

Lancer wrestler to the end, fiercely battling cancer until his death on March 31, 2005.

Tim Harrison became General McLane's first PIAA State Champ, during the 1975-76 season. He was also a 1974-75 state runner up. His Senior season record was 26 wins, 3 losses (all three of Tim's losses that season came at the hands of Iroquois' two-time state finalist, Dave Daniels, who Tim defeated when it really counted…in the State Finals match!

Tim wrestled on the 1974-75 and 1975-76 Lancer wrestling teams. The 1974-75 team finished the season unbeaten and ECL Champs. Tim's personal record during that two-year span was a spectacular 50 wins and 8 losses.

Tim went on to wrestle for Cornell University. Although he underwent three knee surgeries in college, he was named All-Ivy three times, All-Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association, and was a two-year team captain.
